By now all helpunlimited drivers are aware of "The New Vehicle Inspections" and how very important this step is in your day.
A vehicle must be given a Vehicle Inspection every 24 hours, therefore we at helpunlimited would recommend each and every time you get into a new vehicle that you do a proper Vehicle Inspection and document accordingly.
It is all drivers responsibility to carry your Log-Book and Trip Inspection Sheet at all times (which all drivers sign off) on the sheet acknowledging that you agree with all the information on it. All major defects must be dealt with immediately before you leave the yard, and you must document accordingly.
Please remember if you are not the person doing the Vehicle Inspections - check your notes carefully as again once you sign off - it is your problem if you get stopped at the scales or if anything should go wrong.
It is all drivers RESPONSIBILITY to ensure you stay in COMPLIANCE with this rule, failing to do so will result in FINES.
